Make up tips please?
ok since i can't see you run not walk to your nearest department store and play dress up with your face. they have make-up professionals who will be able to effectively pick out colors that will be flattering and that you can ask for tips and techniques they can teach you. and then you can actually purchase what you like. if i were you go early in the morning on the weekend or on a weekday so that you can have uninterrupted time with the salespro. now with that said

make up must be flattering to your face, not to what you are wearing you don't need to match your make up with your shirt. you need to use the colors that are flattering on your complexion.

eyeliner should accentuate not punch. so neutral colors like a dark brown might be nice for every day, or for a smokier eye black or dark blue.

no white eye shadow palease...dark gray and black are for a night time look but you have to be a professional to mess with that black. since your eyes are blue the a grey matte with a little shimmer on the bottom lid should look nice on your eyes. you can also use this same color or a closer color with a shimmer NO MATTES under your brow line. then you should put a somewhat darker color like brown in the crease of your eye where the lower lid folds up when you blink lightly and if you put too much wipe it off with your finger.

the easiest way to go from ok to a WOW is to make sure to get those eye brows waxed or tweezed. if you don't know what you are doing consult a pro. who will be gentle if it is your first time.

since i am not seeing you i can't advise on blush, but if you use a bronzer on your whole skin face it will give you a little bit of a nice sun kissed look. but don't over do it.

for your lips just experiment it will feel right on you while you wear it.

and nail polishes don't matter but short clean nails are in even if all you have on them is a light buff or clear polish although dark and short and in fashion.

if you don't feel like going to the mac counter or bobbi brown, go to your grocery store or pharmacy and sit a home with a mirror on a night you don't have anything to do and perfect your look girl. have fun that's all you can do.
Reply:i think that you should try wearing a light gray color because it is a little lighter but still dark. because you have blue eyes gray always makes them stand out. then you can also use a silver with the gray. and black. here is how you cab apply it. you put the gray on the lid, just below the crease. then you put a little bit of the black on the crease. but not too much and very lightly. then you can put a light and thin layer of silver above the crease. (close to the eyebrow). then you just spread it out so that it doesnt look like a lot. then you just put on your regular mascara and eyeliner. the way to apply eyeshadow is: the medium color below the crease, the darkest color on the crease, and the lightest color above the crease(close to the eyebrow.) and make sure all the colors go together and match. or you can use any colors that you want and you can also be natural and use colors that match your skin tone,.
Reply:If you have blue eyes and want them to stand out where browns on your lids. Brown eye shadow will bring out the blue.
Reply:I also have blue eyes and dark hair. If you want to play up your blue eyes, use bronze-toned eyeshadows. Anything that has an orange base to it will make your eyes appear more blue.

I used to use orange-toned blushes on my cheeks, but, in my opinion, they are not very flattering or natural-looking. Using a nice, soft pink color on the cheeks is flattering to any skin tone, as long as it is not too overpowering for you.

For liner, switch things up every now and then and use a dark brown powder liner. You would apply this with a wet eyeliner brush in the same way you apply your black pencil. This will give you a softer look, but still bring out your eyes.

My favorite new accessory is false eyelashes! These are so fun...they have them in all different lengths and thickness and colors. Some have jewels or feathers on them...very fun. Sometimes I will do a very natural face, then put on some funky lashes for fun. Ardell makes the best falsies in my opinion. Definitely check them out. They take some practice, but they really are awesome.

Keep things pretty low-key for daytime, but keep some cool, outrageous colors to wear at night to play up your look. Try 2 or 3 bright, complementary colors on your lids. Try some rhinestones at the corners of your eyes or some glitter. Keep playing with it until you come up with some cool looks!
